New SURVEYS to Capture Key Data (December 2019 – Newsletter)

Participate in the Lung Cancer Registry, a community powered by patients and the patient voice. Together, moving lung cancer developments forward.

We have exciting news and we wanted you to be the first to know.

The Lung Cancer Registry has developed new surveys to do an even better job of capturing important parts of your lung cancer journey. These new surveys include questions about how symptoms and side effects impact you and your quality of life - now and over time.

We are going to ask you to complete these new surveys now, and then again about every 3 months. Asking survey questions over the course of the year will help us better understand how your treatment journey evolves and allow researchers to identify patterns. This can lead to advancing knowledge and better care and outcomes for lung cancer patients.

We will email you, approximately every 3 months, when your new periodic Core Survey is available for you to take.

We appreciate your completion of the Lung Cancer Registry (LCR) Core Surveys. We will follow your quality of life and how your treatment journey changes over time. Even if your treatments remain the same, providing therapy information over time helps us better understand your experiences—a very valuable contribution.

Your full participation in the registry may help advance future medical care for families facing lung cancer.
